“Maven is the end result of each kitchen experiment, each lesson from my mentors, and each suggestions from patrons,” says Hipworth.
“It’s the place age-old traditions meet trendy flavours. From the fragrant first brew within the morning to the final chunk of our signature desserts at night time, Maven encapsulates my journey, classes, and aspirations as a chef.”
Maven is Morgan Hipworth’s third venue, after opening his flagship Bistro Morgan retailer in Windsor, and a second location in Fitzroy in August.
Studio Esteta is behind the venue’s design which is ready to be an expression of old-meets-new with rustic but modern interiors.
