Singapore: Tommy Lai is to step down from his function as CEO of luxurious hospitality model Common Lodge Administration.
Lai joined GHM in 2018 and since then has supported the opening of The Chedi Katara in Doha and signed three properties within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – The Chedi Hegra, The Chedi Wadi Safar, and The Chedi Trojena.
The choice to depart GHM is claimed to have stemmed from Lai’s need to “re-evaluate his profession trajectory”. It follows months of “cautious planning and collaboration” with the corporate’s possession and management.
An official announcement concerning the appointment of a brand new CEO is predicted in early November.
Talking about his departure, Lai stated: “It comes with a heavy coronary heart, however I take solace within the data that GHM is in wonderful form, and its future stays shiny. I’ve had the privilege of constructing a devoted and succesful crew throughout my tenure as CEO. The crew is well-prepared and dedicated to supporting our motels and house owners throughout the transition interval till the brand new CEO takes the reins.”
Established in 1992, GHM conceptualises, develops and operates a worldwide group of motels and resorts. Its portfolio consists of 4 manufacturers: The Chedi, The Chedi Membership, Ahn Luh and The Serai.
