The Guild of Meals Writers has introduced the shortlist for its prestigious annual awards in meals writing and broadcasting. The awards ceremony takes place on Wednesday, sixth September on the Royal Establishment’s world-famous theatre.
In celebrating the achievements of 2022, the Guild recognises rising expertise in addition to among the best-known meals writers and broadcasters within the nation. The 16 classes vary from books and podcasts by way of to recipe and restaurant writing and the judging panels comprise a variety of Guild members.
The shortlists shine a highlight on among the UK’s best-known writers and cooks. Included are Mark Hix for work revealed within the The Telegraph; Jimi Famurewa and Grace Dent for restaurant writing; and Jeremy Lee for his debut cookbook, Cooking: Merely and Properly, for One or Many. Susannah Cohen, Susannah Moody and Claire Ruston are all shortlisted within the Guild’s first Newcomer award.
