IHG Hotels & Resorts Expands to Türkiye with Vignette Collection
In an exciting development for the hospitality industry, IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the leading hotel chains worldwide, has announced its partnership for the Vignette Collection, Union Han, Istanbul Karaköy. This landmark signing marks the debut of the Vignette Collection in Türkiye and adds to IHG’s prestigious portfolio in the nation. Once it opens in the latter half of 2025, this converted property, owned by Cortex Turizm, will be the 16th IHG hotel in Istanbul.
The launch of Vignette Collection, Union Han, Istanbul Karaköy signifies IHG’s robust growth trajectory in Türkiye, contributing to a total of 45 opened and signed properties across the country. This signing also strengthens the global footprint of the Vignette Collection brand, which aims to have 100 hotels in its portfolio within the next decade. This expansion further enhances IHG’s luxury and lifestyle offerings, which currently comprise nearly 900 open and signed hotels worldwide.
Emphasizing Luxury and Local Identity
As IHG’s luxury conversion brand, Vignette Collection allows property owners to maintain the distinct character and identity of their hotels while providing guests with truly unique experiences in memorable locations. Staying aligned with its core values, Vignette Collection, Union Han, Istanbul Karaköy will uphold an “A Means for Good” initiative, showcasing the hotel’s commitment to collaborating with local non-profit organizations to create positive impacts within the community.
Located within the historic Tütün Han building, the hotel will boast 51 stylish and distinctive guest rooms, an all-day artisan bakery, and a specialty food restaurant. Additionally, guests can enjoy premium wellness amenities, including a spa designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.
