Staypineapple Hotels Inc. has successfully sold the Watertown Hotel located in Seattle to Sohal Hotels. Under this new arrangement, Staypineapple will manage the property through its inaugural management and licensing agreement.
The Watertown Hotel, established in 2001, became a part of the Pineapple Hospitality portfolio in 2008 and was officially rebranded as a Staypineapple property in 2013. Covering 88,500 square feet, the hotel features 100 guest rooms and suites, a fitness center, 1,300 square feet of meeting space, a secure underground parking garage, and an attached food and beverage café.
“Transferring ownership of the Watertown Hotel to Sohal Hotels marks an exciting new chapter for us, as we look to enhance our management and licensing capabilities,” said Dina Belon, president of Staypineapple Hotels. “Our partnership with Sohal Hotels aims to preserve Staypineapple’s renowned hospitality and innovative service model at Watertown Hotel, ensuring a memorable experience for each guest.”
Satpal Sohal, owner of Sohal Hotels, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, commenting, “We are excited to take ownership of Watertown Hotel, a property that has proudly served the University District community in Seattle.
