Orelle is kicking off the holiday season with an exclusive collaboration with the prestigious champagne house, Laurent-Perrier, which includes a festive cocktail menu and a refreshed look for the rooftop bar area.
Birmingham’s renowned sky-high restaurant, Orelle, is celebrating the season with a special limited-time menu crafted in partnership with Laurent-Perrier.
Laurent-Perrier, a family-owned Champagne House, has been a trailblazer in the bubbly sector since the 1950s, creating a diverse range of wines that embody freshness, finesse, and elegance, perfectly suited to French cuisine.
Guests can savor a glass or bottle of Laurent-Perrier’s Cuvée Rosé Brut, or share a selection that includes Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration No 26, Laurent-Perrier Héritage, and Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature.
This exclusive partnership will last until January and features a new bar snacks menu with perfect pairings such as Jersey Rock Oysters with Mignonette dressing, truffle and Parmesan frites, 24-month-aged warm comté gougères, and a charcuterie platter.
Champagne and delectable bar snacks will be served in Orelle’s beautiful rooftop bar area, which boasts stunning panoramic views of Birmingham and beyond. To accommodate more guests and enhance the experience, Orelle has added 8 new poseur tables and 24 stools, giving the bar a fresh look just in time for the holidays.
The revamped skyline experience will also debut an exclusive Christmas cocktail menu, featuring the Golden Bauble, inspired by the sparkling Christmas lights along Colmore Row and beyond.
The Golden Bauble, created by Orelle’s mixologist Tiago Bastos, is a delightful concoction of spiced rum, coconut water, and cold brew coffee liqueur, embellished with luscious white chocolate and a hint of warm cinnamon spices.
Other holiday cocktails include Terry’s Orange, blending Cognac, Amaro dark chocolate, and orange foam for a twist on the beloved Christmas chocolate treat, and the Ginger Snowball, which combines rich Advocaat with white vermouth, lime juice, and warming notes from cinnamon syrup and ginger ale.
The new menu also features a luxurious Rum & Coconut Hot Chocolate for a tropical take on a winter classic, along with Orelle’s version of Molten Wine, the quintessential holiday beverage.
