During the construction of Atzaró Okavango, significant efforts were made to preserve existing trees on the site. The camp features an on-site solar farm, utilizing advanced solar photovoltaic technology with lithium-ion battery storage. All water used at the lodge is purified through a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis treatment plant, with re-mineralization following purification. Furthermore, the camp practices sustainability through initiatives like reducing plastic waste and utilizing renewable energy resources, as well as composting all organic kitchen waste on site.
