Since its inception in 2001, Obsession has been a celebration of exquisite food, fine wine, and the joy of gathering with friends, both old and new. Although it has transformed over the years, its core mission remains the same: to provide guests with an unforgettable culinary experience crafted by some of the globe’s most groundbreaking chefs.
Lisa Goodwin-Allen, executive chef at Northcote, stated, “Obsession possesses an extraordinary history, and I feel honored to have been part of it since its inception. Craig Bancroft and Nigel Haworth introduced this remarkable event in 2001 at Northcote. The concept was unparalleled in the UK, setting the stage for what it is today. I took over leadership in 2022 and have been thrilled to bring together innovative chefs and diverse cuisines for Obsession. Leading the 25th anniversary of this prestigious event is a true honor.”
“I have witnessed countless incredible chefs showcase their artistry in the kitchen and create unforgettable memories for our guests over the years. The passion and excitement surrounding Obsession are contagious. It is not only about the exceptional food but also about the social connections made among industry experts and food enthusiasts, providing a space for networking and sharing a love for outstanding culinary experiences. Obsession25 is exceptionally special for our team; it represents a significant milestone, and we are excited to welcome some of the world’s finest chefs to join us and create the magical energy that Obsession is renowned for.”
