Indonesia: The lifestyle brand 25hours Hotels has named Jesper Soerensen as the general manager of The Oddbird Jakarta, which is set to open its doors in November 2024.
Soerensen brings over 23 years of experience in the luxury and lifestyle hospitality sector to his new position.
In the early stages of his career, he worked at renowned hotels such as Sanderson and St. Martin’s Lane in London, Shore Club in Miami, as well as Six Senses Singapore, The Standard Maldives, and SO/Maldives.
“I am genuinely excited to be in Jakarta to lead the opening of 25hours Hotel The Oddbird Jakarta and to offer the authentic experience that 25hours Hotels embodies,” Soerensen expressed.
“Our spaces are designed to be unique yet authentic, with a strong emphasis on creating memorable experiences. We aim to be a home away from home, whether for business travelers or leisure guests. Additionally, we will prioritize partnerships, wellness initiatives, and community activities. True to our values, we warmly welcome all Oddbirds—those who embrace their individuality—to connect with fellow like-minded individuals,” he further stated.
