Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a third-party hotel management and investment firm based in Atlanta, has announced the promotion of Cory Chambers to Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial and Analytics Officer. Additionally, Maggie Rosa has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.
In their new positions, Chambers will collaborate with the team to develop and implement cross-functional strategies that enhance support for hotel general managers, their teams, and hotel owners. Meanwhile, Rosa will lead the operational performance of a portfolio comprising full-service and select-brand hotels while strengthening relationships with owners. Chambers will also continue to oversee the HVMG Revenue Excellence team, focusing on maximizing market share growth and executing revenue strategies, systems, and processes for both above-property operations and hotel teams.
“Cory’s promotion acknowledges his outstanding accomplishments in creating a top-tier revenue organization and his significant contributions to HVMG’s strategic initiatives over the years,” stated Robert Cole, President and CEO of HVMG. “Having joined HVMG over ten years ago, Cory has consistently demonstrated his capability to devise and implement tools, processes, and strategies that yield exceptional revenue outcomes. Under his leadership, HVMG has achieved five consecutive years, and nine out of the last ten years, of year-over-year market share growth across our same-store portfolio. Cory has also cultivated a team of some of the best revenue talent in our industry, earning the trust and respect of our owners and brand partners. Throughout the organization, he has been a valuable contributor, mentor, and leader. I greatly appreciate his proactive approach, determination, and impact on making our company better.”
With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, Chambers previously held a Vice President role in revenue generation at White Lodging, where he was responsible for sales, revenue management, e-commerce, and communications for the company’s full-service portfolio. His prior roles at White Lodging included Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing and Pre-Opening Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. He began his career at Marriott International, where he occupied various sales and marketing leadership roles at hotels with capacities ranging from 300 to 1,300 rooms. He also serves on several industry and brand advisory boards, including those for Hilton, IHG, Marriott, AHLA, and HSMAI.
Regarding Rosa, Cole remarked, “Maggie has played a crucial role in the success of numerous HVMG hotels, leading the Hilton Houston Galleria, Hyatt Regency Houston North, and Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center to achieve some of their best-performing years. Throughout her diverse roles, Maggie has managed everything from overseeing multimillion-dollar renovations to significantly enhancing guest satisfaction scores, RevPAR, and GDP results. We eagerly anticipate Maggie’s continued leadership as she oversees our hotel portfolio, focusing on optimizing performance, nurturing strong relationships, and enhancing guest and associate satisfaction.”
