Upmarket Leisure, a high-end hospitality group, has officially unveiled its inaugural international venue, Cabana Club, a luxurious poolside destination and Mediterranean dining experience at the newly launched ME Malta, a lavish hotel under ME by Meliá, as of November 4th.
Situated within the much-anticipated lifestyle hub, Mercury, designed by renowned Zaha Hadid Architects and nestled in the heart of St. Julians, this opening marks the culmination of years of collaboration between Mercury Towers Ltd and ME by Meliá. All parties involved are thrilled to establish this significant strategic alliance.
Cabana Club is the first of three upscale experiential dining venues that Upmarket Leisure plans to introduce at Mercury, enhancing the exceptional culinary offerings available at this remarkable location. Upcoming concepts include an exclusive Italian restaurant, Luciano, by celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo, and a modern Asian grill and cocktail bar, Radio Rooftop, along with comprehensive meetings and events facilities.
As Malta’s newest premier rooftop pool club located on the eighth floor, Cabana Club offers guests, residents, and visitors an unrivaled poolside experience alongside a Mediterranean restaurant. Guests can indulge in stunning views, a lavish rooftop pool, a stylish alfresco pool bar, a juice bar, and an elegant 200-capacity modern Mediterranean dining space, making it a premier spot to relax, dine, and enjoy events poolside in a chic atmosphere. Cabana Club operates daily from morning until late.
Following closely behind, Luciano by Gino D’Acampo is set to welcome guests in early 2025, serving exquisite Italian cuisine. Situated on the fifth floor of ME Malta, this venue will accommodate 300 guests and offer an exceptional mix of indoor and outdoor dining, featuring a spectacular rooftop terrace. Guests will experience authentic Italian hospitality combined with a premium yet laid-back dining experience.
Perched on the twentieth floor of ME Malta, Radio Rooftop, embodying the signature ME by Meliá concept, will open its doors in spring 2025, appealing to a discerning and stylish clientele. Expected to become one of Malta’s most sought-after venues, it will offer a luxurious rooftop pool, contemporary Asian sharing dishes, and world-class cocktails, all while providing breathtaking, unobstructed vistas of the island and beyond. Live performances by internationally recognized artists will enhance the atmosphere at each of the three venues.
Moreover, the partnership will extend with Upmarket Leisure delivering first-class culinary services to ME Malta’s 140-room hotel and Mercury Suites, which includes 48 luxury suites and 450 premium apartments. Services will encompass breakfast, in-room dining, meetings, events, and banqueting options.
